The WinSearch ASP Infrastructure is built upon industry leading technology We use application, database and back-up servers from Dell, network equipment from Cisco, and back-up software from Veritas Environmental Controls
The data center is kept between 65ºF to 68ºF with 40% to 50% humidity 24/7 monitoring of all electrical and mechanical systems Security
Access points to the Data Center Facility are monitored on a 24/7 basis and restricted by card key access Server Room access is restricted to authorized personnel
Private Client File Storage
You are provided with a secure and private file storage area Similar to a local file server, you can store files outside of your WinSearch SQL Server database You can add additional directories and customize your own directory structures Data Redundancy & Backup Systems
All data is written to a full redundantseries of mirrored hard disk arrays
Each night a full back up of all data is transferred to a separate series of Backup Servers Each day at 8:00 AM EST a full tape backup is performed on the previous day's data The tape library is rotated and tapes are stored off site on a routine basis Power Redundancy & UPS Backups
APC UPS battery backup power capacity for up to five hours if necessary A Kohler Diesel Power Generating Plant provides longer-term backup power (including HVAC) The generator automatically kicks in to supply power, within 7 seconds of the loss of commercial power Unattended power generation for 3 to 4 days before refueling is required
Virus & Intruder Prevention Systems
Protection from virus attacks by Norton Anti-Virus Enterprise Edition Virus definitions are updated daily Emails and files are automatically and continuously scanned for viruses The Firewall is designed to identify andhandle threats including but not limited to
